About Me

I have been a coach and Three Principles Practitioner since 2012. Prior to that I was a lawyer, first an advocate and later a tribunal judge. In 2012, following a whirlwind of life events and because of the phenomenal impact of this understanding on my life,  I made a career change.

During my 20s I had encountered some significant personal challenges, including an alcohol issue. Those experiences made me very interested in how the mind works. I trained in a number of therapeutic approaches including hypnotherapy and NLP. In 2010 I stumbled across a radically different understanding of human wellbeing called The Three Principles. Immediately I was struck by the outstanding outcomes that this understanding could produce. The results, in every area of human endeavour and human experience, dwarfed everything else I had come across in 2 decades of study.

Having had first hand experience of the stress and pressure which can occur personally and professionally, I am passionate about sharing this very effective work with others. I can attest to its transformative power from my own experience. Despite many external upheavals, the last 13 years have been the happiest and fulfilling of my life. Many clients have had similarly profound changes.

Learning about this understanding occurs in a relaxed conversational manner – either one-to-one or in a group setting. Training enables people to access their own resilience and resourcefulness. There are no techniques or interventions. Change occurs through Insight. Once these principles are grasped, clients are  increasingly able to generate their own fresh and new  solutions, whatever their situation.

An insight into The Three Principles is particularly helpful with problems of stress, overwhelm and burnout. Other benefits include increased effectiveness, improved satisfaction at working, creative problem solving and innovative decision making.

Perhaps most importantly, Wellbeing training leads to a massively increased quality of life, irrespective of external circumstances. Despite the gentle approach the results can be phenomenal.

One client wrote after 2 sessions: ‘I don’t know what happened at yesterday’s session but I felt amazing and happy after it, actually I don’t think I ever felt so happy in my life….so thank you’

In 2019 my dear friend and colleague Barbara Sarah Smith and I collaborated across continents to co-write a book about how an understanding of the Three Principles can boost recovery from addiction. The result I our book,  Addiction: One Cause, One Solution.
